As a leader in Calgary’s new music community, New Works Calgary work extends beyond our mainstage season of concerts.

Pre-concert Chats

Prior to every concert (at 7:15 pm), an artist or composer involved with the evening’s performance will give a special introduction to the concert.

Post-concert Receptions

After every concert, we invite audience members to meet the artists and composers from the concert, and enjoy light refreshments.

Artists in the classroom

For a unique educational opportunity, invite a member of Ensemble Resonance, Rubbing Stone Ensemble or a composer to share their knowledge and experience in a special one-hour class or workshop for your students. Arrange an Artists in the Classroom via this address.

Commission a Composer
